Olvri is proud to present a thoughtful range of handcrafted leather backpacks and carry goods. Our collection is made in partnership with skilled leather artisans in India, with attention to detail in every stitch and finish.

We focus on leather backpacks for everyday use and travel—roll-tops, laptop and work styles, weekender and trek-ready designs—as well as a small selection of messenger and convertible pieces. Whether you need a bag for a commute, a short trip, or day-to-day carry, Olvri aims to offer practical options with a clean, timeless look.

We believe in supporting traditional craft. By working directly with experienced artisans, we help preserve techniques that have been refined over generations and ensure careful workmanship throughout the making process.

Materials & Finishes
We primarily use buffalo and goat leather selected for strength and character. Many of our leathers are finished with oils and waxes for a natural feel; color and surface variations are part of each bag’s unique look. Tanning and finishing methods may vary by style—please see each product page for the specific leather, lining, and hardware details.

Care & Longevity
Leather is a natural material and will age with use. For best results, follow the care notes on the product page, avoid prolonged moisture, and condition the leather periodically as needed.

Our Approach
Where possible, we prioritize lower-impact practices such as vegetable-tanned leathers and durable construction intended for long-term use. We continually review materials and packaging choices and share product-level details so you can make an informed decision.

Craft Locations
Our workshop partners are based in Udaipur and Jodhpur, India, where teams of skilled makers cut, stitch, and finish each piece with care.
